This job requires you to be able to work morning and afternoon programming Shifts: 6:15am - 8:45 am, and afternoon is 3pm-6pm. Prep time of 90 minutes, as needed. Kennedy Location
Rate of pay: $21.77
Job Responsbilities:
- Supervision and safety: Supervise children at all times, respond to emergencies and crisis situations, and ensure a healthy and safe environment.
- Program implementation: Implement and adapt acitivites according to provided guidelines to support the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of the children.
- Child interaction: Interact positively with children, using developmentally appropriate practices, providing support and guidance, and responding to their individual needs.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with children, staff, parents, and administrators. Maintain confidentiality and foster positive relationships.
- Daily operations: Assist with daily tasks such as snack preparation, and cleanup. Help set up and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications and skills:
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required
- Experience: Previous experience in childcare or with school-age programs is often preferred but not always required.
- Skills: Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Must be flexible, reliable, and able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment
