Starting Friday, March 30th, the winery will be open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through Christmas 11:am - 5:30pm. You can join us in the Tasting Room to sample our wines, or pick up a light snack in our deli where we have a selection of meats and cheeses as well as some wonderful chocolates for your pleasure. You can join us in the Tasting Room to sample our wines, or pick up a light snack in our deli where we have a selection of meats and cheeses as well as some wonderful chocolates for your pleasure. Our deck and grounds are always available to our customers to enjoy a glass of wine and a picnic.

Our September Life 101 workshop is taken directly from feedback from our teen leadership team members. They want tips and ideas for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and perfectionism.
 
These free workshops are for young people ages 17-22. Younger teens and parents are welcome, as are other young adults. Please note: some content may not be suitable for younger students.

Join Carpenter Nature Center as the University of Minnesota's Raptor Center releases rehabilitated raptors to the water, prairie, and forest of the Carpenter St. Croix Valley Nature Center. Presented by 3M Foundation in partnership with The Raptor Center at the University of Minnesota and CNC. Visitors will enjoy watching 4-6 wild birds of prey take to the air after being rehabilitated by the Raptor Center's veterinarians. The day is full of fun including orchard hay wagon tours, educational raptors on display from The Raptor Center, kids activities and more. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the day, but for this event, please leave your pets at home.

Facilitated by: Dick and Donna Mathiowetz. Dick & Donna developed the curriculum for Gone Too Soon and Forever Changed, and will be the facilitators for this series. They have been on their own grief journey over the past two decades following the death of two children. When life presented a choice to become bitter or better, they have chosen the latter. Their heart is to walk alongside those grieving, through inspiration, education, and support.

Have you ever wondered what bird banding is all about?  Bird Banding records can help us learn how long birds live, where they travel, when and where they migrate and many other interesting facts.  Carpenter Nature Center has been banding birds for over 30 years.  On the fourth Friday of the month bird banding is open to the public. 
There is no program fee, but donations of Bird Seed and Suet are greatly appreciated.
